First some vaguely sensible sites:
The Crossword Tools anagram creator. For example, Edinburgh comes out as "Ugh! Inbred." You can only find one at a time without paying to join, but they are usually very funny.
Or how about a game of Hangman if you like spelling games? Sometimes US spellings unfortunately...
Or if you fancy yourself as a trivia quiz expert, you could try these Triviaplaza quizzes on subjects like pop, films, geography etc.. If, on the other hand, you want to play against other competitors, why not try Action Quiz? Don't worry, you can make up a screen name!
Or play Mahjonng online - just select the doubles to remove free tiles until you are stuck or they are all removed?

The internet is also full of funny, pointless things to do, so here are just some of them if you are really bored:
Upload a photo of yourself to the Devolve Me website and see what you might have looked like as an early human!
Pop virtual bubblewrap - pointless, but very soothing!
Turn a web page or web site into dialects e.g. Cockney, Swedish Chef or Jive - for example try doing it with this page! You can also write your own text to be dialectised.
Play Yeti Sports Olympics online...
If that's not silly enough for you, why not learn Klingon? Mind you, that might just be useful if you go to a Star Trek Convention...
